Subsurface Characterization and Geotechnical Site Investigation for Infrastructure Development

This project focused on conducting a comprehensive geotechnical site investigation to evaluate subsurface conditions for a proposed civil infrastructure development. The investigation included a review of existing geological data, execution of boreholes, standard penetration tests (SPT), cone penetration tests (CPT), and collection of soil and rock samples for laboratory testing. Groundwater monitoring wells were installed to assess seasonal fluctuations. The results provided essential parameters for foundation design, slope stability analysis, and earthwork planning. A detailed geotechnical report summarized soil stratigraphy, engineering properties, potential hazards, and design recommendations to ensure safe and cost-effective construction.
