We design and implement monitoring programs for geotechnical, structural, vibration, sound, and water quality parameters. Operating as a digital office, our team works remotely and mobilizes to construction sites as needed to support projects throughout the region.

    The Role
    We are looking for an Associate Site Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves both technical problem-solving and practical fieldwork, working closely with senior staff to plan, install, commission, and maintain monitoring systems for diverse construction projects. You’ll also engage directly with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.

    Responsibilities

    • Install and service instrumentation onsite, adapting designs in the field as required.

    • Oversee borehole drilling, perform soil logging, and complete instrument installation/baselining.

    • Commission automated monitoring systems, including integrating sensors, dataloggers, and connectivity networks.

    • Maintain monitoring programs through troubleshooting, calibration, and equipment servicing.

    • Configure and manage digital platforms for real-time data reporting.

    • Conduct pre- and post-construction condition surveys, including photo documentation and reporting.

    • Support all aspects of operations as part of a small, collaborative team.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Geological Engineering or a related discipline (Civil, Geology, Geophysics, etc.).

    • Valid US driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of tasks.

    • Prior experience in engineering or construction is an asset.

    Location

    The Role
    We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on environmental monitoring, permitting, and compliance support for construction projects. You’ll work with senior staff to design, implement, and manage environmental monitoring programs, while also conducting field investigations, sampling, and reporting. The role combines technical knowledge with hands-on fieldwork and client collaboration.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement environmental monitoring programs (air, water, noise, and dust).

    • Conduct field sampling and testing for soil, groundwater, and surface water quality.

    • Install and maintain automated environmental monitoring equipment.

    • Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with provincial and federal requirements.

    • Assist with permitting applications and liaise with regulatory agencies.

    • Perform environmental site assessments and baseline condition surveys.

    • Support project teams by identifying environmental risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

    • Participate in business development by contributing to proposals and technical input.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline (Civil, Chemical, Environmental Science, etc.).

    • Valid US driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

    • Experience with environmental monitoring, permitting, or construction support is an asset.

    • Familiarity municipal and federal environmental regulations is preferred.
